Exploring the Future of Horti Science:

Feeding and Greening Cities in 2050

Lansingerland

5 October 2023 • 12:30-18:00

What will the greenhouse of the future look like? How is consumer behavior changing? What are the next steps in energy transition and circularity? How will the value chain develop? What kind of talents do we need from the next generations and how to find these? These and many other questions were addressed on October 5th.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our esteemed speakers, including those from Bologna University, HAS (Higher Agricultural School), Technical University Delft, and Wageningen University & Research. Their valuable insights enriched our event.

We’re also deeply grateful to our special guest, Dr. Raymond Wheeler from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, for sharing his expertise and perspective.

Our event wouldn’t have been the same without the outstanding hosting by Tim de Wit, who guided us through the day with finesse and enthusiasm.

Last but not least, we want to express our gratitude to all the attendees who joined us and contributed to the success of our event. Your participation made this gathering truly special.
